Vehicle Protection Plans

for your vehicle

You are legally required to have collision insurance. Yet, did you know that less than 10 percent of all collision insurance policyholders actually use their insurance plan?

A Vehicle Protection Plan (often incorrectly referred to as an “Extended Auto Warranty”) is the second part of the equation to having full protection on your vehicle.

The best coverage you can get! Platinum coverage is typically only available to newer cars with less than 75,000 miles on them at the time the policy is purchased. This type of policy is sometimes (and incorrectly) called “bumper to bumper” or “new car coverage,” due to the fact that it covers the vast majority of all components of the vehicle. The policy covers so many components, that on the policy itself it only lists what is NOT covered, as there are literally thousands of parts that are! Each of our administrators offer Platinum Plus coverage policies.

Second best level of coverage available! Gold coverage plans cover a vast majority of components on the vehicle. These policies are generally available on vehicles with less than 90,000 miles on them. Below is a list of some of the components that are covered under these plans (be advised, this is just a general list, please refer to your specific protection plan for what is actually covered)

Covering all of the major components, and more! A powertrain enhanced policy covers all of the major components of the vehicle and a few other major components as well. While it doesn’t cover everything that a comprehensive or exclusionary policy gets, it still covers the vast majority of all of the “big ticket” items. The powertrain enhanced policies are generally available to all vehicles with less than 120,000 miles on them. Be advised, this is just a general list—please refer to your specific protection plan for what is actually covered

Our Powertain Plus coverage plan covers the parts at highest risk for breakdown, but like our Powertrain Enhanced plans, it covers more. In addition to covering the powertrain, it also covers important electrical items such as the alternator and starter, and covers your air conditioning unit. Seals and gaskets are also covered in connection with a covered repair.

Please note, this is just a general list—please refer to your specific protection plan for what is actually covered under that plan.
